In Morocco you will find yourself traveling hundreds of years back in time into a country with a fascinating past. As you wander through the centuries-old Kasbahs, the markets, and into the Sahara desert on a camel trek, as well as through the Imperial cities and the great south, you will experience a landscape filled with exotic beauty and a country full of ancient traditions. On one of our tours, you will experience both simple country life in the mountains and deserts and the hustle-bustle of daily life in the Imperial cities.
day1: Casa blanca :
Upon arrival in Casablanca, you will spend the night, and then enjoy a city tour including the palace of Mohamed V, United Nations Square, and the magnificent Hassan II mosque.
day2: Casablanca-Fes(fez) via Rabat and Meknes :
Departure from Casablanca to Rabat. The Rabat city tour includes the Kasbah of Oudayas, the Hassan Tower, the Mausoleum of Mohamed V, and the Chellah Kasbah. Then drive to Meknes to see the old ramparts, the Agoudal Basin, the Moulay Ismail royal stables, Bab Mansour, and the Moulay Esmail mausoleum. Then on to Fes...
day3: Fes city tour :
Sightseeing in the old city of Fes includes the Medersa el Attarine, Bab Boujiloud, La Quaraouiyne, a souk, and the art museum of Batha.
day4: Fes-the great south (the sand dunes of Merzouga) :
Drive across the middle Atlas Mountains via Azrou (cedar forest), Ziz Gorges and the Ziz Valley (the biggest oasis palm trees valley in the south), Erfoud, and then spend the night at the Kasbah Hotel in Merzouga.
day5: sahara trekking (Day/night Trek ) :
Start at 9:00 a.m. and travel through huge sand dunes to visit a Berber family in the Black Desert (flat with black stones), have lunch, an evening trek to a camp in the middle of the sand dunes, experience sunset, spend the night, experience sunrise, and then trek back to the hotel in Merzouga.
day6 : Merzouga-Dades gorges :
Drive to Risani to view the Moulay Ali Cherif Mausoleum, Oueld el Halim Ksar, and visit the great market of the south, Tinerhir see the Todra Gorge and spend the night at a hotel in the Dades Gorges.
day7: Dades gorges-Ouarzazate :
After breakfast, depart for Ouarzazate via Kella Mgauna, a rose cultivation center, visit the Kasbah of Taourirte, and the movie film center.
day8: Ouarzazate-Marrakech :
Depart for Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah and Tizin'tichka Pass to get to Marrakech.
day9: Marrakech city tour :
A full day of sightseeing in Marrakech that includes the old medina, the Square of Jemaa el Fna, the Koutoubia Minaret, Bahia Palace, and the Majorelle botanical gardens.
day10: Transport to either Marrakech or Casablanca Airport for your departure flight.
